My heart led me to Portugal and I have stayed for a while in this incredible country.
Although Portugal is a part of Europe, it's not at all typical European country . The sun is always shining, the beaches are breathtaking and the people are nicer than you can imagine.

Lisbon
The most colourful city I have ever seen. the structure of the city is a real outdoor workout, and when you go up hill you can catch the stunning river view. You can find a lot of cool shops and restaurants in every single small street.
LX Factory- An old glass factory which renovated to an amazing area of special restaurants, bars and design.
Favorites in LX:
Rooftop Lounge Bar- one of the best bars I've ever been. Great music, awesome service and unique design.
Landeau- Best chocolate cake I've ever taste. As you can guess, I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but this cake really worth it. You can share a piece, and better have it with espresso.
Restaurants
Yakuza First Floor- fabulous fusion restaurant. The lounge is well designed with a beautiful balcony and garden, live music by the best DJ's in the city and superb service. And above all, the food is SO delicious. Definitely the best restaurant in Lisbon.
Cafe Nicolau- Healthy style restaurnat, located in the center of the touristic area in Lisbon (Baixa). perfect for breakfast and lunch.
Heim Cafe- Cosy restaurant located in the authentic beautiful area of Santos. fresh food, great for brunch.
Miradouro de Santa Catarina- Best viewpoint in the city. Everyday people from all over the city come over to see the sunset and enjoy live music played by locals. The place is a real magic.
Baleal- Penieche
The best location for those of you who surf. Peniech located in the center of Portugal. If you are looking for a lot of attractions, Peniech is not the place for you. But, if you surf or just love the beach vibes, don't miss it. If you are a pro, check out the famous super tube beach in Peniech.
Next to Peniech located one of the most beautiful places in Portugal- Baleal Island, Baleal Island is a strip of island that divided the ocean to two beautiful beaches- One for surfing and one for chillin'.

Wave Center Baleal
A dream come true. The best place to stay- a room with a sea view, even from the bathroom. The room is ON the beach, Just wake up and jump to the water.

Berlenga Island
From Peniech port you can take a day trip to Berlenga Island, one of the wonderful places I've ever been. Although there are many tourists visiting everyday, The island is non touristic at all. There is wild nature and breathtaking clear water. The island known of the ocean tunnels around it and of the historic castle. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Ericeira
Ericeira is one of my favorite places in the world. This town located less than one hour drive northern of Lisbon. It used to be a fishermen village, so you can guess that the whole town inspired by the ocean. The center of Ericeira is beautiful, in some ways the town looks like the Greek islands. There are surfing spots for pros and also for beginners. There is a lot of well designed shops and restaurants, and the best of all are the great yoga studios.
Ericeira Yoga Studio
The perfect studio for practice- it's cosy and the teachers are professionals and nice. I could easily feel home. It was also my first time trying flying yoga (aerial yoga) and I fell in love with it. The flying yoga gives you the opportunity to explore your body with a different perspective, to trust yourself and feel the magic in hovering.

Magic Quiver
The network of Magic quiver including a hospitality lodge, concept store and cafe. it is all inspired by surf, and what I love the most is the perfect detailing design. There are all near by (in the center of Ericeira) and gives you the perfect experience.
Quiksilver Store
On the main road there is a Quiksilver store, with a big skatepark, Poke bowl, bar and live music on Fridays. The highlight- there is an underground floor with an amazing studio offering varied schedules of yoga and fitness classes.
Lagos
A small town at the southern district of Portugal. The town located by the ocean, and Lagos beaches are stunning. Lagos known for its beautiful beach, Praia Dona Ana, which is definitely one of the most amazing beaches in the world. You can also do a sailing tour around the ocean caves, if you are lucky you may see dolphins. Furthermore, this small town is full of great restaurants and bars.
Restaurants and bars
The garden- tropical garden restaurant and bar. Good for anytime of the day, to eat or to chill.
Borritos and Beats- for all of you who love borritos (who doesn't?). This restaurant is all about borritos and it's delicious! Everything is home made, fresh and tasty.
Coffee and Waves- very new cafe located in the center of Lagos. The Owner is a British guy, a surfer and a boards shaper. You can enjoy an great coffee, fresh smoothies, well designed and artistic place.

For adventurous, I highly recommended to do the coast trip by a van. The roads are easy and without much traffic, and it's one of my best experiences ever.
Portugal is very welcoming country, and I could really feel home. Already looking forward to my next visit. Até já! ☼
